天神平のリフト山頂から見えるこの山は、今作で1番斜面への取り付きが大変だった。ハイクアップは滑る前に5時間半、滑り終えてから2時間半と、この斜面を滑るのは丸一日のミッション。旧谷川岳にラインを描く、ファーストディセントを狙うライダー達。夏でも登山道がなく、冬は全く人の気配がしない俎嵓。クルーの中でのポイントネームは”夢の舞台”だった。正式に狙った沢名はタカノス沢A、その他にもB・Cの沢をもつタカノス沢。急斜面なだけに雪が少しでも重くなると、その圧力で厳冬期から斜面にヒビが入る。
狙うタイミングが非常にシビアな斜面。
the slope we can see from the peak of Tenjindaira-lift, where is the most difficult to access and film in this project. we need at least 5 hours and half for hike up before ride there, moreover 2 hours and half for back way. so its during the entire day mission for riding this slope. to draw a line in the old Mt. Tanigawadake, riders aiming for fast descent. there is no trail even in the summer, no sign of human in winter. the point name for crew called “dream stage” . we attacked the slope where officially called “Takanosusawa A” , and there also have B and C spot as well. there are also steep slope, racked on the slopes from midwinter by the pressure when snow becomes heavy even a little. extremely severe slope for the timing to aim.
