STORY

マチガ沢は岩場の多い斜面。降りる方向が南から東に変わるだけで山の表情は全く変わる。
沢は東側に向いて延びているが、中には北絡みの斜面・南絡みの斜面などいろんな方向から入る事が出来る。ただ、ドロップ位置を間違うと崖に出てしまう事のあるマチガ沢。まだ誰も滑った事のないセクション、ラインが残っており、今作の主人公NORIも作品中でファーストディセントを狙う。大きな沢だけに雪崩が発生すると大量の雪をボトムまで運ぶ。マチガ沢の南斜面にある東尾根の雪庇が落ちると、人以上の雪の塊が沢に転がっている事がある。
 
a rocky slope Machigasawa. expression of the mountain change at all just different surface’s direction from south to east. the ridge extending towards the east, we may enter from various directions, such slopes north side or south side. but, you come out in the cliff if you mistake the spot for drop in Machigasawa. there are still left some section which nobody has drop in, even protagonist Nori aims first descent in this project. there is also huge slope so if avalanche occurs and then it carries large amounts of snow to bottom. a cornice of east ridge in the southern slope of Machigasawa it sometime makes a lump of snow bigger than human it falls in slope.
